Birds of Cahuita National Park
Cahuita National Park is a 2,711-acre (1,097-ha) national park in the Caribbean La Amistad Conservation Area of Costa Rica located on the southern Caribbean coast in Limón Province, connected to the town of Cahuita.
Cahuita National Park has a five-mile trail that begins by the Kelly Creek park entrance along the southern edge of Cahuita town and winds along the coastline around Cahuita Point and Puerto Vargas Point before doubling back toward Puerto Vargas.
The park boasts over 400 species of birds that can be seen and heard.
